Church Point (NS), January 21, 2020 - It is rare for three sisters from the same family to be enrolled at Université Sainte-Anne at the same time. But this year, this is the case for the Sibbick sisters—Emily, Hannah and Olivia—all three graduates of Montague High School and originally from Cardigan, Prince Edward Island.

By decrees of the Prime Minister of France, dated january 9th 2018 and january 7th 2019, Mr. Jean-Douglas COMEAU and Mr. Allister SURETTE have been named to the rank of Knights in the Order of the Palmes Académiques. This honorary distinction will be formally presented by Mr. Johan Schitterer, Consul general of France in the Atlantic Provinces. The ceremony will take place on friday, November 1st at 5:30pm at Université Sainte-Anne's chapel.

Church Point (NS), August 20, 2019 – Today marked the launch of Université Sainte-Anne's 2019-2024 strategic plan, “Knowledge in Action”. The university's president and vice-chancellor, Allister Surette, presented the new plan to a gathering of staff members in Marc Lescarbot Theatre.

Church Point (NS), July 22, 2019Caroline Fitzpatrick, Assistant Professor in the Social Sciences Department at Université Sainte-Anne and affiliate researcher at Concordia University’s PERFORM Centre has received a grant from Research Nova Scotia. This funding, which represents $150,000 over 3 years, will allow her to conduct research on the effects of screen time on preschool-aged children in Nova Scotia.
