Create Your Account
Begin by clicking on “New Application” and creating your account.
Step 1 - Choice of Program
On the first page of the application, you will be asked to select:
- Semester: Choose Spring or Summer, depending on the French Immersion session you plan to attend.
- Level: Select Undergraduate.
This will allow you to access the French Immersion Program options.
- Study Load: Select Full-time (both the Spring and Summer Immersion programs are full-time).
Step 2 - Studies
This section refers to previous studies.
Since the French Immersion Program has no prerequisites, you may leave this section blank and simply click Next.
Step 3 - Personal Information
Please complete all mandatory fields.
The last question refers to a Université Sainte-Anne student number.
If you have never studied at Université Sainte-Anne, you may leave this field blank.
Step 4 - Legal Status
For international students:
Because the program is short in duration, a study permit is not required. Depending on your country of citizenship, you may need a visitor visa (you can verify this here) and/or an eTA (you can apply for it here). If you are a U.S. citizen, you do not need either an eTA or a visa.
Please select:
- Legal Status: No status
- Authorization to Study in Canada: Not applicable
Step 5 - Contact Information
Enter the required contact details.
Step 6 - Jobs and Activities
This section is optional. You may skip it by clicking Next.
Step 7 - Documents Required
You must upload a valid proof of identity.
Acceptable documents include:
- A birth certificate, or
- A government‑issued identification document
Step 8 - Additional Questions
Note: Not all questions will apply to you.
- Used name: Enter this only if you regularly go by a name different from the one on your legal documents.
- Social Insurance Number (SIN): Required for tax purposes.
- Nova Scotia Provincial Student Number: Not applicable to the Immersion Program; you may leave this blank.
- Campus: Select Church Point, as it is the only campus that offers the French Immersion Program.
- Accessibility Services: Select Yes if you would like the Accessibility Services Coordinator to contact you about available supports for permanent disabilities.
- PPECFSM eligibility: Even as an international student, you are not eligible. Please select No.
- Emergency contact: Provide the contact person and your relationship to them.
