This course will be an introduction to the study of death and dying it will highlight the main issues and questions as well. We will explore the sometimes difficult, painful issues relating to death and dying. We will use an approach to the study of death and dying that combines the intellectual and the emotional as well as the social individual. Theory and research will be presented as well as methods for applying what is learned to the student's own situations personal and professional.
