The Acadian Center is an archive founded in 1972 by J. Alphonse Deveau, historian, writer, schoolteacher, and pioneer in Acadian studies. Affiliated with Université Sainte-Anne, it holds archival collections and a genealogical database of Acadian families from Clare.
