As of March 2022, all COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted FR (Available in French Only) from our campuses.

Church Point, NS, April 22 2020 – Following the launch of the COVID-19 Emergency Fund for Université Sainte-Anne students on April 17th, Université Sainte-Anne has provided $18,000 in financial support to students. Applications are submitted daily and will be evaluated on a weekly basis.

We would like to remind students that the goal of the fund is to bring short-term relief to those who can't afford to pay for food, housing, or medication. Tuition fees or vehicle related expenses, for example, are not considered essential needs.

Furthermore, students who are eligible for the Canada Emergency Response Benefit, which provides $2,000 every 4 weeks for a maximum of 16 weeks, do not qualify for the COVID-19 emergency funding for Université Sainte-Anne students.

Priority will be given to students who have exhausted other sources of financial support and/or who do not qualify for government support. In order to apply, students must complete this online form (French only).

Everyone who fills out the form will receive confirmation that their application has been received. Applications are evaluated on a weekly basis;  applications received through Sunday night will be evaluated at the beginning of the week and payment will be sent before the end of the week. A decision will be communicated to every applicant.

“Once again, I would like to thank the Association des professeurs, professeures et bibliothécaires (APPBUSA), our alumni association and its members, and our staff for their financial contributions, which increase the available funds Université Sainte-Anne can provide. We are living through difficult times filled with uncertainty and this fund allows us to help students that need our support.”

- Allister Surette, President and Vice-Chancellor.
