As of March 2022, all COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted FR (Available in French Only) from our campuses.

Church Point (NS), Mai 15, 2020 – Like many of their colleagues at member institutions of the Association of Atlantic Universities (AAU) member institutions, Université Sainte-Anne administrators are cautiously optimistic about the resumption of institutional operations for the fall semester.

“We remain hopeful that we will be able to welcome students at our campuses in September, however, we must also prepare for the possibility that access to campuses will be limited or even impossible.”

- Allister Surette, President and Vice-chancellor.

Planning for a return to postsecondary education this fall has been underway for some time and the university community will be informed as soon as updates are available.

“In all likelihood, certain aspects of traditional campus activities – classroom teaching, research activities, residence living, student life events, and other types of gatherings – will be different than in the past to ensure that health risks are minimized.” Mr. Surette adds, “it is quite likely that some academic programs (or aspects of programs) will be delivered virtually.”

The priority remains the health and security of our students, staff, and community members.

Université Sainte-Anne wishes to reassure future students, returning students, and their families, that adherence to the guidance of Public Health officials will drive all institutional decision-making, especially concerning physical distancing practices and protocols.

“We are in close communication with Public Health officials and we will make sure that all necessary precautions are put in place to ensure the safety, health, and well-being of everyone on our campuses” concludes M. Surette.

Université Sainte-Anne encourages all future and returning students to remain hopeful and, most importantly, to avoid becoming discouraged from beginning – or continuing – their postsecondary education.
